Conservation Hedge (Large)

Sold in packs of 50 these are larger, 90/120 cm plants which provide a more established look faster. These plants knit into a classic county hedge that is not poisonous but not too attractive to stock either. The mix is 50% hawthorn and 10% each of 5 species chosen by us from Blackthorn, Crab Apple, Dog Rose, Dogwood, Field Maple, Guelder Rose, Hazel, Pear, Privet, Spindle, Sweet Briar, Wayfaring Tree etc Because these plants are quite big, they will need watering in the spring, and they should be planted before the middle of February in any event.
