Stake, Tree - 150cm x 5cm

The Ashridge Tree Stake is a 50mm x 1.50m softwood stake, machine pointed at one end and chamfered at the other. A tree stake should be used with at least one tree tie and is essential when planting standard trees and fruit trees.

The tree is secured to the stake which should be placed to windward of the tree being planted. Drive the stake into the bottom of the planting hole before planting the tree and try to ensure that 2/3rds of the stake is underground when the soil is returned to the hole.
